Potomac Boxer Club offers indvidual, family and associate memberships. Individual and family memberships are open to those over 18 years of age in good standing with the American Kennel Club and who subscribe to the mission of the Potomac Boxer Club. At the time of joining, the applicant, or member of his or her immediate family, must own a Boxer that is registered or is eligible for registration with the American Kennel Club. The applicant must have attended two general business meetings as a guest. If joining as a family, all prospective members must have attended two meetings. Associate memberships are for those interested in promoting the breed, but do not own a Boxer, or are under the age of 18, and are in good standing with the American Kennel Club. Associate members may not vote or be a member of the Board of Directors.
Each applicant for membership must complete a registration form agreeing to abide by the Club's Constitution and By-Laws and the rules of the American Kennel Club as well as application portions of the American Boxer Club regulations. The required registration fee must accompany the application. Applicants need to be sponosored by a current member of the Club in good standing. All applications are reviewed and voted on by members of the Club at the next meeting. The prospective member(s) should attend this meeting and be prepared to pay the membership fees.
